Create a statewide supplementary certification board for practitioners of traditional native Hawaiian healing arts, with Papa Ola Lokahi partnering with the traditional healing community and other interested individuals.

Allow practitioners of traditional native Hawaiian healing arts to be certified through the supplementary certification board, notwithstanding section 453-2 of Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Require the supplementary certification board to submit annual reports to the legislature on certified practitioners and findings/recommendations no later than twenty days prior to regular sessions in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Base certification standards on those established by the Waianae Community Kupuna Council, the only council that has established a certification system for traditional native Hawaiian healers since 1988.

Repeal the annual reporting requirement on December 31, 2024.
