Expands acceptable sources for naturopathic physician continuing education requirements by adding courses from state naturopathic licensing boards and accredited naturopathic medicine institutions to the existing list of board-approved professional associations.

Allows continuing education courses approved by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education or the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education to meet Hawaii's renewal requirements without requiring separate approval from a board-approved professional association.

Requires naturopathic physicians submitting continuing education documentation for license renewal to identify whether courses were approved by a state licensing board, professional association, or naturopathic medicine institution.

Addresses confusion and administrative burden created by existing law that only recognized continuing education courses approved by specific professional associations, even when courses were accredited by recognized naturopathic medical schools or other licensing boards.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050.
