• Urges the Department of Education to increase access to trauma-informed care for public school students who experience sexual violence

• Requests the Department of Education offer training in trauma-informed care to teachers, administrators, and school staff to improve reporting, prevention, and intervention in cases of sexual violence

• Urges the Department of Education to collaborate with victim service providers to develop school-based programs and protocols to identify and support students who are victims of sexual violence

• Requires the Department of Education to submit a report on its progress implementing trauma-informed care practices to the Legislature at least 20 days prior to the Regular Session of 2021, including any proposed legislation
