S.C.R. No. 181 Summary

• Recognizes the seventy-fifth anniversary of the United Nations, which was founded on October 24, 1945, with fifty-one countries signing the Charter in San Francisco.

• Urges all state agencies to implement Executive Order No. 1806, issued by the Governor on November 30, 2018, to assist Hawaii in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

• Requests state agencies to work toward all seventeen SDGs, including goals related to poverty elimination, food security, health, education, gender equality, clean water, clean energy, economic growth, infrastructure, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action, ocean conservation, land protection, peace and justice, and global partnerships.
