Hawaii endorses and adopts the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons to support United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 for peace, justice, and strong institutions.

Urges federal leaders and the nation to make nuclear disarmament the centerpiece of U.S. national security policy and endorse the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

Calls on federal leaders to renounce first-use of nuclear weapons, end the President's sole authority to launch nuclear attacks, remove nuclear weapons from hair-trigger alert status, and cancel plans to replace the entire arsenal with enhanced weapons.

Requests active pursuit of a verifiable agreement among nuclear-armed states to eliminate their nuclear arsenals.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the President, Congressional leadership, the United Nations, Hawaii's congressional delegation, the Governor, and all county mayors.
