Urges the Department of Education to mandate a climate change curriculum in all public schools by no later than school year 2021-2022.

Requires climate change curriculum to be included in the Department of Education's 2030 Promise Plan under School Design to support sustainable Hawaiʻi.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be sent to the Governor, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, Board of Education Chair, Superintendent of Education, and other state and local officials involved in climate and education policy.

Establishes that climate change education is essential given Hawaiʻi's vulnerability to sea level rise, beach erosion, and extreme weather, and the need for STEM-trained problem-solvers to address climate impacts.

Affirms Hawaiʻi's leadership on climate action, including its 2015 commitment to 100% renewable energy and 2017 alignment with the Paris Agreement.
