Notes that Hawaii was selected in 2012 as one of two Wave Energy Test Sites in the United States through a competitive process.

Highlights that the Azura prototype wave generator successfully supplied 20 kilowatts of grid power in July 2015, demonstrating the technology's commercial viability.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Secretary of Energy, Secretary of the Navy, and President of the University of Hawaii.
