• Encourages Hawaii citizens to participate in commemorating the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, which was established on October 24, 1945, by 51 countries in San Francisco.

• Recognizes the United Nations' 75-year commitment to international peace, security, human rights, and economic well-being, and endorses its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be fulfilled by 2030.

• Appeals to members of Congress, state and local officials, civic leaders, educational institutions, and the media to support the principles and work of the United Nations.

• Encourages robust participation and leadership by the United States federal government and Hawaii state and county governments in fulfilling United Nations programs and goals for building a sustainable world.

• Requires transmission of certified copies to federal and state officials, all county mayors and councils, and neighborhood boards throughout Hawaii.
