Endorses and adopts the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons to support United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 for peace, justice, and strong institutions.

Urges federal leaders and the nation to make nuclear disarmament the centerpiece of U.S. national security policy and endorse the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

Calls on federal leaders to renounce the first-use option of nuclear weapons, end the President's sole authority to launch nuclear attacks, remove U.S. nuclear weapons from hair-trigger alert status, and cancel plans to replace the entire arsenal with enhanced weapons.

Cites approximately 13,800 remaining nuclear weapons globally, with over 90 percent held by the United States and Russia, and warns that even 100 Hiroshima-sized bombs could cause global climate disruption and famine affecting 2 billion people.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to the President, Congress leadership, Secretary-General of the United Nations, Hawaii's congressional delegation, Hawaii's Governor, and county mayors.
