Hawaii Senate requests the Wall Street Journal include Hawaiian Airlines in future rankings of "The Best and Worst U.S. Airlines."

Wall Street Journal ranked nine airlines in 2019 based on on-time arrivals, cancelled flights, extreme delays, tarmac delays, mishandled baggage, involuntary bumping, and complaints, but excluded Hawaiian Airlines.

Wall Street Journal stated Hawaiian Airlines would have ranked as the number one best airline in 2019 if included, but excluded it due to the airline's focus on inter-island flights and limited mainland exposure.

Hawaiian Airlines operates a fleet of 61 aircraft serving 13 mainland U.S. cities and destinations in Asia and the South Pacific, and was ranked among the top five best airlines by multiple publications including Conde Nast, Forbes, and Travel + Leisure in 2019.

Resolution directs certified copies be transmitted to Airlines for America, Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, Hawaiian Airlines CEO, and Wall Street Journal Editor in Chief.
