• Establishes that 'Āina Pono is the state's farm-to-school initiative combining agricultural procurement with health and nutrition education programs across select schools on the Big Island and Oahu.

• Identifies food hubs as essential support systems providing small to mid-sized farmers with aggregation, storage, processing, distribution, and marketing services they cannot afford independently.

• Directs transmission of certified resolution copies to the Board of Agriculture Chairperson, State Procurement Office Administrator, Department of Education Superintendent, and School Food Services Branch Director.
