• Request Hawaii Health Systems Corporation to convene a task force to conduct a feasibility study for constructing a hospital in North Kona, Hawaii Island.

• Task force membership includes a Senate member, House member, Director of Health, CEO of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation West Hawaii Region, a West Hawaii Regional Health System Board member, and other representatives as deemed necessary.

• Initial task force meeting required by June 1, 2020, with the West Hawaii Region CEO serving as chairperson.

• Task force to submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2021 Regular Session convenes.

• Task force automatically dissolved on June 30, 2021.
