Urges the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to identify job classifications where a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Certificate may substitute for an Associate of Arts degree.

Recognizes that CTE programs integrate academic and hands-on training and are particularly beneficial for students in non-traditional learning environments, disabled individuals, economically disadvantaged students, and homeless individuals.

Requests the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations submit a report of findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days before the start of the 2021 regular session.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations, Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, and State Director for Career and Technical Education.
