• The habitat conservation plan covers approximately 104,000 acres and protects 16 endangered species (15 plants and 1 insect) while enabling sustained yield game management for hunting.

• The Division of Forestry and Wildlife has worked on this plan since 2003 when initial surveys were conducted across the project area.

• Approximately $3,593,900 has already been spent on habitat conservation plan activities as of the resolution's passage.

• A certified copy of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
