Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 200-27 to require fire chiefs and ocean safety directors of each county to submit boating reports to the Department of Land and Natural Resources, in addition to the existing requirement for the Director of Public Safety and police chiefs.

Expands reporting requirements to include all reports by subordinate employees relating to boating accidents or the theft, loss, or recovery of registered and numbered vessels.

Mandates that all submitted reports be unredacted, with the exception that medical information may be redacted.

Takes effect upon approval.
