Amends Section 5-7.5 of Hawaii Revised Statutes to add subsection (c) requiring all state and county officials, officers, and employees to identify themselves by first name when answering telephone calls, video calls, or other interactive telecommunications during official duties.

Requires government employees to offer callers a polite salutation consistent with the aloha spirit as defined in the statute, which emphasizes kindness, unity, pleasantness, humility, and patience.

Effective upon approval.
