Clarifies that courts have authority to issue temporary restraining orders, protective orders, and injunctions that extend beyond the date a protected minor reaches eighteen years of age.

Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 586-5 to allow temporary restraining orders restraining contact, threats, or physical abuse of a minor to extend to a date after the minor turns eighteen.

Amends Section 586-5.5 to allow protective orders restraining contact, threats, or physical abuse of a minor to extend to a reasonable date after the minor reaches eighteen years of age.

Amends Section 604-10.5 to allow temporary restraining orders and injunctions restraining harassment of a minor to extend beyond the three-year limit if the period extends after the minor reaches eighteen.

Takes effect upon approval; does not affect rights, duties, or proceedings that began before the bill's effective date.
