Authorizes employers of first responder personnel to obtain dementia training for their employees covering recognition of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia types, cognition assessment strategies, and best practices for interaction.

Training content includes strategies to identify and intervene in situations where persons with dementia may be at risk of abuse or neglect.

Requires training to be offered at no cost to first responder personnel and funded through private contributions from relevant nonprofit organizations.

Grants the executive office on aging authority to coordinate training schedules and standards with public and private entities providing first responder services, including entering into agreements with nonprofit organizations for funding.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
