Transfers non-facility general fund per-pupil special education allocations from department of education schools to charter schools when a special education student enrolls in a charter school.

Requires parent or guardian of the special education student to submit confirmation to the department prior to the school year of enrollment, verifying the student's application, acceptance, and intent to attend the charter school.

Transfers allocation must be used specifically for special education services at the charter school.

Upon enrollment, the special education student shall be added to the projected count of special education eligible students for the charter school.

Applies only to charter schools approved for an expansion of grades or the number of students in their charter; effective July 1, 2050.
