H.B. 1348 - Stadium Development District

• Increases stadium authority membership from nine to eleven members and adds two new seats representing specific geographic areas adjacent to the stadium district

• Establishes a stadium development special fund to receive and manage all revenues from stadium operations, grants, revenue bonds, and legislative appropriations for district development and operations

• Expands stadium authority powers to acquire and hold real property, coordinate planning and construction activities within the district, and enter into development agreements including leases up to 99 years

• Transfers control of stadium development district from Hawaii Community Development Authority to stadium authority as the sole jurisdiction agency, with authority to adopt development plans and modify transit-oriented development plans with public input

• Makes stadium authority members' financial disclosures public records and exempts stadium authority-held land from the definition of "public lands"
