Establishes tuition waiver program through University of Hawaii and community colleges for survivors of firefighters killed in the line of duty and their dependents.

Eligible persons include: survivors of firefighters killed from traumatic injury in line of duty, spouses of permanently and totally disabled firefighters, and children ages 17-24 of permanently and totally disabled firefighters.

Children's waiver eligibility capped at 54 months for baccalaureate degree seekers or the duration of their educational program if pursuing other credentials.

Waivers available on space-available basis; applicants must meet standard admission requirements and provide documentation verifying relationship and firefighter status.

Misrepresentation of eligibility constitutes a petty misdemeanor; act takes effect upon approval and repeals on June 30, 2030.
