• Repeals section 6E-34.5 of Hawaii Revised Statutes, which established the state capitol management committee.

• Dissolves the state capitol management committee that previously oversaw management of the state capitol, its grounds, and facilities.

• Preserves all policies and procedures established by the state capitol management committee prior to repeal, which remain in effect until amended or repealed by the department of accounting and general services, governor, senate, or house of representatives.

• Takes effect upon approval.
