Requires the legislative reference bureau to conduct a study on telework and alternative work schedules for state employees.

Study must include best practices and recommendations on standards, eligible employee categories, positions unsuitable for telework, accommodations for caregivers, use of personal devices, technology impacts, incentive programs, and annual department targets.

State departments and agencies must cooperate with the legislative reference bureau by providing necessary information and data for the study.

Legislative reference bureau must submit a report with findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2022 regular session convenes.

Act takes effect upon approval.
