Prohibits contracts entered into, modified, or renewed on or after July 1, 2021 from restricting the transfer of a person's digital media account upon death to designated devisees or heirs under intestate succession.

Defines "digital media account" as any account for playing, downloading, storing, or organizing digital media including music, video, photographs, audiobooks, or games, along with associated identification, passwords, content, and use licenses.

Requires service providers to maintain decedent's digital media accounts upon receipt of proof of death from the personal representative and prohibits terminating accounts or destroying content except for contract violations.

Allows personal representatives to obtain account identification and password information by providing proof of death and certified appointment documents, or by court order.

Digital media accounts pass to devisees designated in the decedent's will, or if none, descend to heirs under intestate succession, with heirs subject to the same terms and conditions that applied to the decedent.
