Expands immunity from civil and criminal liability to individuals who provide information or assistance in child abuse investigations, including those providing medical evaluations or consultations.

Amends Section 350-3 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to extend existing immunity protections beyond those making reports to include persons assisting with investigations or legal interventions related to child abuse or neglect reports.

Brings Hawaii law into compliance with the federal Victims of Child Abuse Act Reauthorization Act of 2018 (P.L. 115-424), which was enacted January 7, 2019.

Takes effect on June 30, 2021, meeting the federal deadline granted by the Children's Bureau for Hawaii to align state law with federal requirements.
