Request the Department of the Attorney General to develop and implement a program to prevent human trafficking and child commercial sexual exploitation and assist victims of these crimes

Program shall assess Hawaii's current anti-trafficking response and develop statewide strategies addressing offender accountability through coordinated law enforcement, prosecutions, and crime prevention

Program shall develop and implement plans to provide increased support and assistance to survivors of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of children

Department of the Attorney General must submit initial report to Legislature by December 1, 2021, and second report by December 1, 2022, with assessments, plans, and recommendations including proposed legislation for prevention, victim assistance, law enforcement, data collection, and public outreach

Certified copies of resolution to be transmitted to the Attorney General and Statewide Coordinator on Human Trafficking
