Urges the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women to convene an Inter-Governmental Feminist Economic Recovery Working Group to address economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working group shall develop a framework for economic recovery addressing social, economic, ecological, and health care gaps while promoting gender equity.

Working group must consider COVID-19's impact on women and gender nonconforming individuals in majority-female industries, caregiving challenges, gender violence, resource distribution for support programs, and women's access to male-dominant industries like renewable energy and construction.

Working group composition includes the Executive Director of the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women and Director of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism as co-chairs, plus representatives from state departments (Health, Human Services, Education, Office of Hawaiian Affairs) and 8 nonprofit organizations representing labor, women's issues, environment, children, religion, legal aid, disability rights, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the Regular Session of 2022.
