Urges the Board of Education to name Hilo High School Gym after Albert and Lawrence Manliguis in recognition of their contributions to athletic and academic excellence.

Albert and Lawrence Manliguis coached together for 48 consecutive seasons at Hilo High School, leading the Vikings basketball team to three state championships (1964, 1991, and 2000).

Lawrence Manliguis achieved a runner-up finish in 1992 and led the team to 11 Big Island Interscholastic Federation titles, while Albert Manliguis led the Vikings to 19 Big Island Interscholastic Federation championships.

Recognized the brothers for their fast-paced coaching style, mentorship, and dedication to developing student-athlete skills and character over five decades.

Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, and Principal of Hilo High School.
