Hawaii Emergency Management Agency is requested to convene a resiliency health disaster task force to develop a coordinated statewide resiliency health disaster plan.

Task force shall consist of 11 members including the Adjutant General (chairperson), Superintendent of Education, Director of Health, Director of Human Services, Director of Business/Economic Development/Tourism, President of University of Hawaii, President of Hawaii Tourism Authority, and emergency management directors from Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii County, and Kauai.

Task force is requested to invite representatives from organizations supporting business opportunities and diversity, organizations advocating for the hospitality industry, and other appropriate representatives deemed necessary by the chairperson.

Task force shall submit the coordinated statewide resiliency health disaster plan to the Legislature no later than 20 days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2022.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to all task force members and relevant state and county agencies.
