Opposes any public project, permit, or approval that would close most or all public parking at Laniakea Beach for a multi-year period

Addresses ongoing traffic congestion on Kamehameha Highway at Laniakea Beach, where pedestrians crossing from parking areas cause backups of up to two miles in both directions

Acknowledges community advocacy for traffic and parking relief since 2005 and references a 2015 court ruling requiring removal of jersey barriers that had blocked public parking

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Department of Transportation Director, Board of Land and Natural Resources Chairperson, Mayor, City Council Chairperson, and relevant city directors
