Request the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation to conduct a study or prepare a report using existing data on affordable housing conditions on Lanai and Molokai.

Include breakdown of funds expended from federal, state, county, and private sources for housing on both islands.

Document total number of available affordable and total housing units on Lanai and Molokai, categorized by single-family homes and condominiums with bedroom counts.

Identify planned housing units and residential developments for both islands, including percentage of units designated as affordable.

Analyze whether policies exist that hinder affordable housing availability on Lanai and Molokai; submit final report to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2022 Regular Session convenes.
