Department of Human Services, Department of Health (via Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System), and Department of Education (via Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System) are requested to collect data on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression of respondents, including those under court supervision and at Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility.

Department of Health is requested to include questions about sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression in its Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System questionnaire and develop its own questions on these topics.

Department of Health is requested to publish a comprehensive report on the health of Hawaii's LGBTQI community every three years, comparing health-related risk behaviors, chronic health conditions, and preventive services use between LGBTQI populations and the general population.

Department of Health is requested to publish detailed results of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System on its website every three years.

Department of Public Safety is requested to work with the Sexual and Gender Minority Workgroup within the Department of Health to ensure data collection follows LGBTQI data collection best practices.
