Requests the Department of Human Services, in coordination with the Department of Health, to collect data on LGBTQ+ and intersex youth under court supervision and at the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility.

Directs the Department of Public Safety to work with the Sexual and Gender Minority Workgroup within the Department of Health to ensure data collection follows LGBTQ+ and intersex data collection best practices.

Recognizes that LGBTQ+ youth, particularly those of color, are overrepresented in juvenile detention and correctional facilities and face discrimination leading to increased criminal justice interactions.

Acknowledges that LGBTQ+ youth in Hawaii experience significant physical and mental health disparities as documented in the Hawaii Department of Health's 2017 and 2018 Sexual and Gender Minorities Health Data reports.

Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Director of Public Safety, Director of Health, and Director of Human Services.
