Request Department of Education to provide a comprehensive report to the Legislature on public school class sizes in Hawaii.

Report must include number of classes exceeding Board of Education Policy 106-2 optimum class size ratios, broken down by subject matter and grade level.

Report must detail special education care coordinator caseloads, average student-teacher ratios for general education classes, special education classes (by type: inclusion, resource, self-contained), and English-language learning classes.

Report must include average total student workload for teachers disaggregated by subject matter and grade level, plus the impact of COVID-19 school disruptions and remote learning on class sizes.

Non-classroom teachers must be excluded from all class size calculations, and certified copies must be transmitted to the Board of Education Chairperson and Superintendent of Education.
