Urges the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women to convene an Inter-Governmental Feminist Economic Recovery Working Group to address economic impacts of COVID-19 on women and gender nonconforming individuals.

Working group must develop a framework for economic recovery addressing social, economic, ecological, and health care gaps exposed by the pandemic while promoting gender equity.

Working group directed to examine COVID-19 impacts on women in majority-female industries, caregiving challenges, gender violence, resource distribution for programs serving women, and access to male-dominant industries like renewable energy and construction trades.

Working group membership consists of 14 members including state department directors (Business/Economic Development/Tourism, Health, Human Services, Education), Office of Hawaiian Affairs CEO, and representatives from labor unions, women's advocacy organizations, environmental groups, child welfare organizations, interfaith organizations, legal aid, disability rights, and LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the Regular Session of 2022.
