Hawaii Emergency Management Agency requested to convene a resiliency health disaster task force to develop a coordinated statewide resiliency health disaster plan.

Task force shall be chaired by the Adjutant General and include representatives from Education, Health, Human Services, Business/Economic Development/Tourism, University of Hawaii, Hawaii Tourism Authority, and county emergency management agencies (Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii County, and Kauai).

Task force invited to include representatives from organizations focused on business development and diversity, hospitality industry advocacy, and other appropriate representatives designated by the chairperson.

Coordinated statewide resiliency health disaster plan must be submitted to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2022 Regular Session convenes.

Plan addresses Hawaii's vulnerability to economic, social, and environmental hazards, with particular focus on impacts to low-income communities and small businesses.
