Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 440E-7(a) to allow mixed martial arts promoters to compensate contestants and managers using cash in addition to cashier's or certified checks.

Modifies subsection (a)(4) to add "cash or" as an acceptable payment method when providing compensation to mixed martial arts contestants or their managers.

Maintains all other existing requirements for mixed martial arts event permits, including medical insurance, contract submissions, ambulance/paramedic availability, security personnel, and fire code compliance.

Takes effect upon approval.
