Authorizes the Director of Transportation to adopt administrative rules to set and adjust maximum inspection fees for motor carrier vehicles and fees collected from inspection stations, eliminating the need for legislative action on fee changes.

Establishes an initial inspection fee of $1.50 per motor carrier vehicle safety inspection sticker issued and an initial maximum fee of $12 per safety inspection performed at inspection stations, with authority to adjust these fees through administrative rules.

Replaces terminology of "decals" with "stickers" throughout statutes governing motor carrier vehicle safety inspections.

Changes "motor carrier vehicle safety inspection decal" violations from current law to apply to operation of vehicles without a current motor carrier vehicle safety inspection sticker, with penalties of $100 per day of violation remaining unchanged.

Effective January 1, 2050.
