Removes the requirement that sun screening devices on side and rear windows of certain vehicles maintain a light transmittance of no less than 35 percent plus or minus 6 percent.

Expands the exemption for rear side windows and rear windows to apply to any motor vehicle (as defined in section 249-1) instead of only vans, minivans, trucks, or buses; provided the vehicle is equipped with rearview mirrors on both sides.

Makes grammatical corrections throughout section 291-21.5(d) by replacing "which" with "that" in multiple subsections.

Takes effect on January 1, 2050.
