Increases the maximum area for agricultural shade cloth structures, cold frames, and greenhouses from 20,000 square feet to 60,000 square feet per structure to qualify for exemption from building permit and building code requirements.

Requires a minimum horizontal separation of 15 feet between multiple shade cloth structures, cold frames, or greenhouses on the same property.

Maintains existing exemptions for nonresidential agricultural buildings under 1,000 square feet including barns, storage buildings, farm equipment facilities, and other specified agricultural structures.

Requires all exempt agricultural buildings and structures to comply with applicable state and county zoning codes.

Effective January 1, 2022.
