Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 84-17(g) to simplify financial disclosure requirements for government officials and board members by eliminating specific dollar amount brackets above $100,000

Removes nine disclosure levels that previously ranged from $100,000 to over $1,000,000 and replaces them with a single category of "$100,000 or more"

Retains detailed disclosure brackets for amounts under $100,000: $1,000-$10,000; $10,000-$25,000; $25,000-$50,000; and $50,000-$100,000

Allows stock to continue being reported by number of shares rather than dollar amounts

Becomes effective upon approval, based on legislature's finding that disclosing amounts up to $100,000 is adequate to identify conflicts of interest while detailed disclosures of larger amounts discourage public service
