Adds new allowable use of campaign funds for candidates to pay for child care or vital household dependent care costs incurred due to campaign participation, effective May 1, 2029.

Limits eligible child care costs to services for children under 12 years of age (biological, adopted, foster, step, or legal ward) and requires costs to be incurred from January 1 of the election year through the day after the primary or general election.

Defines "vital household dependent care" as care for household members physically or mentally incapable of self-care, with the same time period limitations as child care costs.

Prohibits child care and vital household dependent care services from being provided by immediate family members of the candidate.

Conditions the use of campaign funds for these expenses require that the costs would not have been incurred but for the candidate's participation in their own campaign activity.
