Department of Health shall establish a task force to study the feasibility of entering into the solemn covenant of the states to award prizes for curing diseases.

Task force study shall examine economic development opportunities, marketing requirements, administration costs, expected financial benefits, potential issues, eligibility standards, protocols for verifying cures, and necessary contracts or agreements.

Department of Health must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2022 regular legislative session.

Task force shall terminate upon completing its objectives or twenty days before the 2022 regular session, whichever occurs first.

Act takes effect on July 1, 2060.
