• Requires University of Hawaii to provide trauma-informed training for employees involved in investigating incidents or assisting victims of sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.

• Mandates University of Hawaii designate confidential advocates at each campus for students to discuss incidents of sexual and domestic violence, with advocate information publicly posted on campus websites.

• Requires University of Hawaii to annually distribute written and electronic materials and training programs to all students and employees regarding Title IX, the Violence Against Women Act, and university sexual harassment and assault policies.

• Directs University of Hawaii to enter into and maintain memoranda of understanding with service providers for victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment to assist in developing policies and programs, including potential off-campus confidential services.

• Requires private colleges and universities operating in Hawaii to implement, to the maximum extent possible, the same campus safety and accountability procedures and protocols as the University of Hawaii system.
