Authorizes contested case hearings to be conducted through interactive conference technology, including teleconference, videoconference, and voice over internet protocol.

Requires notice of hearings held by interactive conference technology to include electronic contact information for the agency, parties, and any retained counsel.

Allows hearings to be recessed for up to one hour if audio communication fails, with proceedings reconvening when audio is reestablished; speakers must identify themselves if only audio communication is available.

Permits evidence to be submitted and exchanged by electronic means when hearings are held by interactive conference technology.

Takes effect October 1, 2021.
