Requests the State Auditor to assess the social and financial effects of mandating health insurance coverage for gender transition-related health care services as specified in S.B. No. 752.

Requires the Auditor's report to be submitted to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2022.

Directs the Insurance Commissioner to transmit copies of this resolution to all health insurers operating in Hawaii.

Cites medical evidence that gender-affirming care improves mental health outcomes for transgender individuals and that major U.S. medical associations recognize transition-related treatment as medically necessary.
