Legislature approves a land exchange between the State of Hawaii and Parker Land Trust (Trustees of Parker Land Trust as landowner for Parker Ranch, Inc.) previously approved by the Board of Land and Natural Resources on April 11, 2014, and August 28, 2020

State conveys approximately 0.5368 acres of state-owned land at Waikoloa, Waimea, South Kohala (Tax Map Key (3) 6-7-003:020) valued at $19,400 to facilitate Post Office construction and resolve access issues to Ala Ohia Road

Parker Land Trust conveys approximately 0.3420 acres of privately-owned residential-zoned land (Tax Map Key (3) 6-7-002:062) valued at $250,000 to provide access to the remaining state-owned flag lot portion

State land conveyed is classified as ceded lands under section 5(b) of the Admissions Act, acquired by the State in a 1961 exchange with Richard Smart for approximately 3.109 acres at Lalamilo, Waimea

Land exchanged by the State will be classified as ceded lands upon completion and developed pursuant to the Waimea Town Center Master Plan and United States Postal Service plans
