Office of Planning is requested to convene a multi-agency working group exempt from Hawaii Revised Statutes chapter 92 to develop recommendations for planning, coordinating, and implementing housing objectives and policies under the Hawaii State Planning Act.

Working group shall include representatives from the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, Hawaii Community Development Authority, Hawaii Public Housing Authority, and Office of Planning.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2022.

Certified copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the Governor, Director of the Office of Planning, and Executive Directors of the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, Hawaii Community Development Authority, and Hawaii Public Housing Authority.
