Requests the Chairperson of the Hawaiian Homes Commission to convene and chair a Revitalizing Economy and Agriculture Leadership (REAL) working group to develop recommendations for implementing the initiative.

Working group membership includes representatives from federal agencies (U.S. Small Business Administration), state agencies (Agriculture, Land and Natural Resources, Business/Economic Development/Tourism, Agribusiness Development Corporation, University of Hawaii), county mayors/councils, Kamehameha Schools, Hawaii Agriculture Research Center, and Hawaiian homestead associations.

Working group is tasked with developing recommendations regarding implementation of the REAL initiative, which aims to empower Hawaii farmers as self-sustaining for-profit businesses with access to local and export markets, while promoting clean energy, restorative agriculture, and environmental conservation.

Working group must submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the 2022 Regular Session convening.

Working group is dissolved on June 30, 2022.
