Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism and Department of Accounting and General Services are requested to conduct a cost analysis study on consolidating west Hawaii state offices into one conveniently located complex.

The study should examine centralizing state offices not dependent on location for purposes of cost effectiveness and efficiency.

Departments must submit a report of findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2022.

Certified copies of the resolution are to be transmitted to the Governor, Director of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, and Comptroller.
